How happy am I ???
Today Gary bought me a "late" birthday present. I have wanted one of these for soooooooooo long. Today we happened to be passing by the houseware department at Mervyn's and I saw the Wonderful sign. "50% off"!!! They had this beauty on sale! The funny thing was the artisan series were more expensive. They were so much smaller, but I think it was because this version only came in black. The others were all different colors. This one has the lift up bowl and can handle 12 cups of flour! To top it off all of the attachments are metal instead of plastic. I wasn't too happy that it was black since I was planning on making the kitchen red, but hey I can compromise!!! After all, who can pass up a Professional 5 Plus Series KitchenAid Mixer for $199! Yeah Me!!!

I am sooo happy for you because I sooo want one too. I want a purple or lavender one but they are soooo expensive. I hope I get one of those babies soon.
