Spaghetti & Chocolate!
Last night was one of those nights when you come home and say I am going to make something for dinner and end up making something completely different. I went home with Turkey tacos on my mind and even got the ingredients out to make them. Well, here is what I actually made. I used Giada’s Turkey Meatballs in Marinara sauce paired up with some Angel Hair Pasta. I was very happy with the outcome of this. I even got Gary to eat more than 1 serving of this spaghetti dish! He hates spaghetti. The kids however, were a different story. I don’t think they cared for the meatballs. They would rather eat pasta plain than with a sauce or anything. I definetly put me some aside for tomorrows lunch, but then again I love spaghetti and meatballs.
Dessert was a different story. I was searching the web for something different to make and came across this recipe for Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies on Epicurious.com. On this particular cookie I will have to give you taste test results from my taste testers. Remember I said I was trying to eat healthier? Well, I figured them to be too many points for me to give up for a cookie. I can say that they were very crisp and looked delicious! In my opinion I would have preferred to eat them individually instead of sandwiched. Gary said that they were very good, but a little bit sweet. He tried them both individually and sandwiched. He said the crème filling was what made them really sweet. He had them with a tall glass of milk though.

They look delicious! So does the spaghetti...I love spaghetti.
Those cookies...I can practically taste them through my screen. Excuse me while I go get something to eat.
Must be chocolate season. Know what you mean about planning one menu then swapping ideas.
Weight Watchers makes you look at baked goods in a whole new way. With each cookie individual cookie being worth 2-3 points, you really start to question how much you want one. Good luck on your quest.
As always, the cookies look delicious, as does the pasta.
