The last of the party...

Well, we had the quinceanera this past Saturday. It was really nice and I think everyone had a good time. This is a picture of the top tier of her cake. We had a DJ for the dance instead of the usual spanish band. I think it worked out well. We had just enough tables for everyone that no one was left standing and not a single table was empty. We all danced to spanish, country, rock & roll and a little bit of hip hop. My favorite part was when we danced the twist.

The ceremony itself was beautiful. The church was decorated with bouquets of white roses and light yellow lillies. The girls dresses were made up of yellow, lilac & pink. We only had 10 girls standing in it, but it was nice. We had a couple of people back out at the last minute, but it still turned out beautiful. My daughter was the most beautiful vision I had ever seen. Her dress was white organza with pastel butterfly appliques on the strap and across the skirt. We had family from everywhere come in to celebrate and we even had a few friends we haven't seen in quite some time. I wouldn't trade the day for anything, but I sure am glad it is over!!!
