Summer is one of my favorite times of the year. I love to grill and I could do it everyday during the summer. Right now I grill on a HUGE charcoal/wood grill that came with the house when we bought it. It works really good, but for some odd reason I enjoy grilling on a gas grill more. I don't care for the smell of charcoal. Every time I tell someone that they say "What? That is what makes the food taste so good!" To me...Not so much!
Tonight I grilled some pork steaks and mixed squash. I love grilled zucchini. I used to make it a lot on my George Foreman, but since it is the time to be outside I made it on the grill. No real recipe...Just squash, olive oil, garlic, a little lemon juice and salt & pepper. You know when it really tastes good is when you make it on the George Foreman and cook the meat in the top half and the zucchini in the bottom and let the juices from the meat drip down the zucchini. MMMMM so much flavor.
I can't wait until tomorrow to see what I can grill up next!
