Hopper Part II

Well, I guess we were all wrong. Gary only took care of Mr. Hopper for 2 days, and then....He passed away!! We saw him in his cage and an hour later he was gone. We still don't know what happened to him. The gentleman from the store said that maybe he was stressed from leaving the whole shabang of bunnies at the store. May I now introduce....Hopper Jr. Little man said he wanted to name this one the same as the old one. He is really doing well on caring for him though. This rabbit seems to be more alert than the other one. He is all around that cage all day long! As you can see from the picture my Chihuahua, Maddie, is quite taken with this rabbit. She likes to lay around the cage and just hangs around Hopper all day. Before I go I wanted to you to all see my beautiful rosebush that Gary bought me today. It is so beautiful! The flowers begin white and end Red! Needless to say the spring planting ritual has began and I am one of Lowe's best customers!! Until next time!!

What a bitterwseet story: I'm so glad that Jr. is doing better than bunny #1 did. An important lesson for little people of all ages...and better to learn on a rabbit than something bigger.

Here's hoping your furry and unfurry beings all have warm fuzzies in the days, weeks and months to come.

We had rabbits also, it was so hard on my kids when they died. :(

Loved your site, especially the recipes, which look delicious.
We seem to have a lot in common, I'm a frequent visitor to Lowes as well, especially in spring when everything is in bloom!
Here from Michelles...(the other one) ;)

Oh, :(. Maybe he just ran off into the West Texas sunset. It's neat that Maddie likes the bunny, too. :)

That's soo sad but at least you were able to get Hopper Jr. I have a long-haired chihuahua that I just blogged about if you are interested. She's my daughter's best buddy!
