Update
Just thought I would let you know what came of the whole identity theft thing. The company that withdrew the funds claims to have a recording of my hubby requesting that the withdrawals be made. The recording is bogus and I have actually listened to it myself. It isn't even my husbands voice and the person can't even say our name correctly. Hmmm..... They no longer will answer the phone. The bank has been very helpful and have said they would return the funds to us. I have been so uncomfortable lately with all this going on. I am a nervous wreck! I am so scared that more will happen if not something worse. We notified the credit bureaus and law enforcement, but it is still very uncomfortable wondering what else these people have stolen or could possibly steal. I have decided that I will no longer pay my bills via the net even if the website has the security needed. I just don't feel safe. I have no idea how the information on my account was obtained, but I don't want to take the risk again. Thanks for all the concern and advise. It was really appreciated!

I'm so glad it's starting to turn in your favor, Michelle. I'm so sorry that the deception of criminals and the lax security of your institution have rattled your faith in the system.

We just had this done with our credit card. Thousands of dollars. Luckily the credit card company has been completely understanding. It is such a violation. I hope it gets better for you.
