Anyone for a little chocolate?

tonight I made another recipe from this month's Cooking Pleasures Magazine. I am telling you! I love this magazine! I don't know how they got my info asking me to subscribe, but I sure am glad they did! These cookies came out really, really good. They are crisp on the edge and chewy in the center. Oh my! With some milk...I was happy! I think those of you who are chocolate lovers (hint hint..crys) will really enjoy this cookie. I actually made them they size they said to and let me tell you they were huge! I might make them smaller next time. I also was out of pecans so I substituted walnuts for them since I had those on hand. Enjoy!

Tri-Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 Cup unsalted butter, melted & cooled
1 Cup packed dark brown sugar
1/2 Cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 Cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 Cup coarsely chopped pecans
2/3 Cup white baking chips
2/3 Cup semi sweet chocolate chips
2/3 Cup milk chocolate chips

1 Heat oven to 375. Line 3 - 4 baking sheets with parchment paper

2. In large bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar and sugar. Whisk in eggs and vanilla until well blended. In medium bowl whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into butter mixture. Stir in all remaining ingredients.

3. Use #16 cookie scoop or 1/4 cup measure to scoop dough, place on baking sheets, leaving at least 3 between cookies. Flatten gently into 3 inch rounds.

4. Bake 10 - 14 minutes or until light golden brown around the edges and still pale in center and slightly soft. Remove from oven immediately slide paper onto wire racks to cool.

These were always my favorites when I was a kid. Come to think of it, they're STILL my favorites now that I'm an adult!

Thanks for yet another delicious diversion. Visiting from Michele's tonight.

Are you trying to make me want to run to the store and bake cookies right now? Because I definately want to. Must. Use. Self. Control....

They look scrumptious, but since I need to lose 10 pounds, I will not be baking them in the near future!
